The eligibility criteria for a spouse visa-
 >> The spouse can be of either sex and has to be aged 18 or above.


The eligibility criteria for common law partner-
 >> The partner can be of either sex and has to be aged 18 or above.
 >> Your partner is not legally married to you.
 >> You and your partner have to have lived together for at least 12 months straight, and if any
         of you move away, then that should be for a short span of time.
 >>  If any of you wish to end the relationship, then it will be ended then and there.
 >> You have to submit the proof of your common-law partner


The eligibility criteria for conjugal partner-
 The partner can be of either sex and has to be aged 18 or above.
   >> Your partner is not legally married to you.
   >> Your relationship should be at least a year old.
   >> You both cannot live together due to-
            * their marital status (for example, they’re still married to someone else in a country
                where divorce isn’t possible)
          *  their sexual orientation (for example, you are in a same-sex relationship, and same-sex
                 relationships are not accepted, or same- sex marriage is illegal where they live),
          *  persecution (for example, your relationship is between different religious groups which
                is not accepted and they may be punished legally or socially)


You and your partner are required to submit proof of your conjugal relationship and have to provide a reason for not living together.


The eligibility criteria for dependent partner-


Children qualify as dependents if they meet both of these requirements:
 >> they’re under 22 years old
 >> they don’t have a spouse or common law partner


Children 22 years old or older qualify as dependents if they meet both of these requirements:
  >> they are unable to financially support themselves because of a mental or physical condition
 >> they have depended on their parents for financial support since before the age of 22 With the exception of age, your dependent child must continue to meet these requirements until we finish processing your application.


What is Inland and outland spouse sponsor visa Canada?
For individuals whose spouse is already in Canada, has a valid temporary residence status, or is
exempt from obtaining this status due to public policy, inland sponsorship is required. While the
applicant’s application for permanent residency is being processed, you can submit an application for and meet the requirements for an open work visa under the inland spouse sponsorship programme.
